About the Role

We're seeking a seasoned expert with hands-on experience in front-end and back-end technologies to lead our performance engineering efforts. Your expertise will be instrumental in solving web application performance bottlenecks, optimizing services and applications, and driving continuous performance improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver high-performance, available, and scalable solutions leveraging multi-region principles.
  • Monitor the performance of web applications and provide technical leadership to drive performance improvements with industry-standard and innovative techniques.
  • Define and track key software performance indicators to drive continuous performance optimizations.
  • Build sophisticated test suites and integrate with CI/CD to continuously measure performance and make it part of development practices.
  • Ensure the integrity, security, compliance, and performance of platforms and applications or services that reside within by partnering with peer engineering leads and architects.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of solid experience and understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices for building high-performance applications.
  • 5+ years of proven experience building sophisticated applications and APIs in cloud, hybrid cloud, Java, React JS, and other relevant technologies.
  • Experience in building applications and performance scripts using modern software development tools, version control systems (e.g., Git), and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities, with a proven track record of collaborating effectively in cross-functional teams and mentoring junior engineers.
