Job Summary

We are currently seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our client in Shelton, CT. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating machinery, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and adhering to safety and environmental procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate machinery to produce high-quality products
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and environmental regulations
  • Follow established procedures and protocols to ensure efficient production
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet production goals and deadlines
Requirements
  • 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, 5 years preferred
  • Experience with short-run production and quality control
  • Strong math skills, including shop math, trigonometry, and geometry
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings, and use measuring instruments and gauges
