Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Radiation Oncology Nurse to provide exceptional patient care within our organization. This role is essential in ensuring that patients receive comprehensive support during their treatment journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough nursing evaluations for new patient intakes.
  • Document vital signs and comprehensive patient medical histories.
  • Educate patients regarding their treatment plans and prescribed medications.
  • Prepare patients for examinations and routine diagnostic tests.
  • Manage and maintain medical supplies and equipment.
  • Support the emotional health of patients throughout their treatment.
  • Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team on patient care matters.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
  • Possession of a valid Registered Nurse License.
  • Certification from the Oncology Nursing Society in Radiation Oncology is preferred.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Strong manual dexterity and capability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Experience working in a dynamic medical office setting.
