We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Oncology team at Providence Alaska Medical Center. As a Medical Oncology Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with cancer diagnoses, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patient responses.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop strategies to address these needs.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in medical oncology.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • 1 year Nursing experience.
