Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients with cancer diagnoses, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patient responses.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop strategies to address these needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in medical oncology.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- 1 year Nursing experience.
