Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Customer Service Representative to join our team at a leading Healthcare Provider in Northridge, CA. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our patients and members, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Schedule appointments and take detailed telephone messages, documenting all patient communication in their chart.
  • Maintain or exceed quality and productivity standards, handling a minimum of 65 calls per day with matching documentation.
  • Anticipate customer needs, understanding their wants and needs, and determining the level of intervention required.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA compliance at all times.
  • Process member demographic updates and maintain accurate records.
  • Work independently to resolve telephonic issues and provide effective solutions.
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a pleasant telephone manner and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand the English language.
  • Medical terminology knowledge and experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards.
