Baker Training Specialist

At Panera Bread, we're seeking a skilled Baker Training Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our bakery operations, you will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs for our bakers, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to produce high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with General Managers to select and train a strong team of bakers
  • Develop and execute the Baker Training Program, including curriculum design and delivery
  • Collaborate with cafe managers and other bakery specialists to ensure consistent quality and standards
  • Facilitate bread cutting events and educational sessions to promote baking expertise
  • Validate and reinforce bakery standards, specs, and procedures with all team members
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 6 months to 1 year of Panera bakery experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to organize time and tasks with proficiency
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
Working Conditions:

This role requires up to 90% travel, with a mix of walking/standing, desk work, and driving between cafe locations.
