About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Wi-Fi Engineering Lead to join our team at Ryder System, Inc. as part of our ongoing efforts to expand and improve our wireless network infrastructure.

Job Description

The successful candidate will provide technical leadership and expertise in designing, deploying, optimizing, and supporting wireless networks across our global operations. This involves architecting and implementing advanced wireless solutions, ensuring seamless connectivity and high-performance network services for our employees and customers.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable and secure wireless network architectures
  • Provide expert-level support for wireless network infrastructure, including troubleshooting and optimization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project execution and stakeholder satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations and designs
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • At least 7 years of experience in SD-WAN, network switching, routing, WAN technologies, and network security
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale monitoring and alerting systems, trending, and capacity planning
  • Familiarity with cloud network infrastructures and managed services on Azure and AWS
  • Knowledge of deep-inspection firewalls, intrusion and threat protection platforms, RADIUS, DNS, NTP, monitoring, and logging
  • CCNP, CCNA certifications and/or AWS or Azure certification preferred
Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $85,000 and $105,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, we offer comprehensive health and welfare benefits, paid time off, and a tax-advantaged 401(k) retirement savings plan.
