Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and Patrol Facilities: Conduct regular patrols of the premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
  • Report Incidents: Fill out detailed reports of any incidents or suspicious activity.
  • Supervise Staff: Supervise 3-4 employees and ensure they are performing their duties effectively.
  • Schedule Management: Create and manage weekly schedules for staff.
  • Communication: Review reports and communicate effectively with management and staff.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with computer software and able to use provided software to annotate events.
  • Facility Maintenance: Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security.
  • Enforcement: Warn violators of premise rules and regulations.
  • Emergency Response: Report any facility issues, such as fire hazards or leaking water pipes, and request emergency personnel as needed.
  • Event Documentation: Successfully use provided software to annotate events that occur during shift.
  • Property Scanning: Make regular trips around the property and scan pre-determined points as directed by management.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Payroll and Hiring: Complete weekly payroll and participate in the hiring process for new employees.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in security, military, law enforcement, or other related fields.
  • Security Equipment Familiarity: Familiarity with security equipment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to handle a light physical workload, stand, and/or walk assigned patrols.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Grooming Standards: Meet and maintain grooming standards.
  • Transportation: Have a reliable means of transportation and a valid driver's license.
