About the Role:

As a Home Health Aide with Interim HealthCare, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors in Northwest Washington, DC. Our team is dedicated to providing personalized, home-based care that allows our clients to maintain their independence and dignity.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to seniors, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and light housekeeping
  • Assist with activities of daily living, such as meal preparation, shopping, and transportation
  • Help with ambulation, transferring, and range of motion exercises
  • Provide medication reminders and document client conditions
  • Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Active Home Health Aide registration in Washington DC
  • Six months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
  • CPR certification
  • Covid-19 vaccination card
  • Valid DC or MD driver's license, auto insurance, and transportation
  • Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
