Key Responsibilities
  • Desktop Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for complex desktop-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to our users.
  • Desktop Infrastructure: Design, implement, and maintain our desktop infrastructure, including Windows desktop operating systems, Group Policies, and Active Directory.
  • Software Deployment: Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell to automate software deployment, patch management, and security updates.
  • VDI Management: Manage and troubleshoot our Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environment, including VMware Horizon and application virtualization.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure the security and integrity of our desktop environment, adhering to Goodwin's security policies and industry best practices.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience. 5-7+ years of experience in relevant technology and business skills.
  • Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems, Group Policies, Active Directory, PowerShell, and enterprise deployment technologies such as Microsoft Configuration Manager and Microsoft Intune.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and customer service skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
