Position Overview
As an Industrial Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for the manual assembly of large-scale, industrial equipment tailored to meet specific customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute manual assembly processes for mechanical and sub-assemblies utilizing hand tools, as well as electronic and pneumatic equipment.
  • Report any defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety regulations.
  • Complete assigned tasks according to the manufacturing schedule with minimal supervision.

Required Skills
  • Adhere to established methods and procedures.
  • Familiarity with assembly and measuring tools, along with the ability to interpret visual aids and perform basic shop mathematics.
  • Competence in reading and interpreting engineered drawings, schematics, and other technical documents.
  • Operate material handling equipment, including overhead cranes and forklifts.
  • Ability to read measuring, torque, and leveling devices.
  • Basic skills in interpreting engineered drawings.
  • Complete tasks based on written and verbal instructions.
  • Understanding of hand tools, electronic, and pneumatic equipment.

Education & Training
High School diploma or equivalent.

Minimum Requirements
  • 2-5 years of proven assembly experience.
  • Knowledge of structural materials, plate materials, and pipe sizes along with their compositions.
  • Good understanding of engineered drawings, schematics, and technical documents.
  • Familiarity with instrumentation, tubing, valve types, and mechanical fasteners.
  • Knowledge of wall panels, door framing, and hardware.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment
Work will be conducted in a non-climate-controlled shop environment, with exposure to various elements, including hot and cold temperatures. The role requires:
  • Normal vision and absence of color blindness.
  • Physical capability to frequently move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Regular sitting, standing, bending, and reaching.
  • Use of safety glasses and recommended earplugs.
  • Ability to stand for up to 10 hours a day (with breaks) and work up to 6 days a week.
  • Steel-toe boots are mandatory in the manufacturing facility.
