Key Responsibilities- Provide outstanding customer service to retail and installer customers, ensuring a positive experience and building customer loyalty.
- Support store management in achieving sales and customer service goals, and contribute to the accomplishment of assigned tasks.
- Follow and promote all company customer service programs, including Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, and Rock the Call.
- Assist managers and installer service specialists in serving professional customers as needed and directed.
- Complete assigned company training relevant to the position and maintain accurate records.
- Process exchanges and returns for credit in a friendly manner, and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly and professional manner.
- Perform various daily operational tasks, including preparing new, core, and warranty merchandise returns for shipment to the distribution center.
- Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after corresponding training is completed and company requirements are met.
- Perform various in-store services for customers, including installing wipers, testing and charging batteries, and replacing headlight capsules.
- Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle to make deliveries when business needs dictate.
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service.
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
- Familiarity with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service is desired.
- ASE certification is a plus.
