Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Prevention Specialist NF4 to join our team at the U.S. Marine Corps. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing prevention and educational plans and policies that support the prevention of family problems, including family violence, that negatively impact parenting, anger and stress management, and issues of importance for couples, and detract from mission readiness.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement prevention and educational plans and policies that support the prevention of family problems, including family violence, that negatively impact parenting, anger and stress management, and issues of importance for couples, and detract from mission readiness.

Serve as a Program Specialist in the functional area to independently review and recommend approval or disapproval of program plans and materials; analyze and develop proposals or provisions in terms of impact on program resources requirements; develop new and revised operating procedures and standards to incorporate provisions that affect operating activities and requirements; conduct reviews of the administration and operation of the program, and provide advice.

Requirements

A Bachelor's Degree in one of the following: Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, Education, Community Health, Public Health, Counseling, Behavioral Science.

Three years of experience in a children's services community organization (with a focus in child abuse or domestic abuse).
