About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Methodist Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patient information and medical history to determine the most appropriate MRI protocol
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images, ensuring optimal patient comfort and safety
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, MRI procedures, and equipment maintenance
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest MRI technology and techniques
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited MRI program or equivalent experience
  • ARRT certification in MRI or Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) within 1 year of employment start date
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
