Job Summary

University Health is seeking a highly skilled MRI Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Ensure patient safety by following strict protocols and guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and magnetic resonance physics.
  • Coordinate departmental operations and collaborate with radiologists and other staff members.
  • Support University Health's policies, values, and commitment to exceptional patient care.

Requirements

  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) (R) (MRI) and licensed by the Texas Department of Health (CMRT) is required.
  • Three years of radiology experience and two years of MRI experience in a hospital setting is required.
  • Must meet competencies required for the position.
