Position SummaryThe Assistant Property Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Property Manager in overseeing property operations. This position is essential for ensuring financial performance, maintaining resident satisfaction, and promoting resident retention.
Key Responsibilities- Manage residency inquiries through various channels, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Handle confidential resident documentation efficiently and timely.
- Facilitate the leasing process, including responding to inquiries, conducting property tours, processing applications, and managing lease renewals.
- Screen and interview prospective residents, adhering to company policies and Equal Housing Opportunity standards.
- Conduct market research and provide marketing insights based on findings.
- Create promotional materials to enhance property visibility and attract potential residents.
- Compile weekly reports on property traffic and other relevant metrics.
- Engage with local businesses and organizations to promote community outreach.
- Process financial transactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping for deposits.
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting and documentation requirements.
- Report property-related incidents to the appropriate management teams promptly.
- Assist in eviction processes and attend court proceedings as necessary.
- Support the development and management of the community budget, monitoring expenses closely.
- Conduct move-in and move-out inspections as directed.
- Adhere to all applicable regulations and company policies.
- Act as the property manager in their absence, ensuring continuity of operations.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
- At least two years of relevant experience in property management or a related field.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid Driver's License is necessary.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in budget management and expense tracking.
- Proficient in computer applications for data entry and reporting.
- Familiarity with Equal Housing Opportunity regulations and standards.
