Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement learning strategies and programs for new employees and existing staff, focusing on onboarding, continuing education, and skill development.
Create and deliver training materials, including UT Learn courses, workshops, and other training formats.
Implement various training methods, such as classroom lectures, online modules, job-shadowing, and one-on-one coaching to enhance staff performance.
Conduct orientation classes covering clinical protocols, standard operating practices, customer service, phone etiquette, and call center software.
Assess the success of training programs and individual development plans.
Support career development through performance assessments, career path planning, and helping managers develop their team members.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required; Associate's degree considered with relevant experience.
Previous experience as a trainer or a similar role.
Six years of experience with designing training programs and workshops.
Experience with learning management software.
Knowledge of various training and teaching methods and talent management and succession planning methods.
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant computer applications.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in a multi-practice healthcare setting.
Experience with Athena or similar EMR systems.
Ability to be flexible and multi-task as needed.

Working Conditions

Work hours are variable based on department needs;
Standard office environment;
Repetitive use of a keyboard;
Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, and occasional use of other office equipment;
Ability to move quickly in response to department needs;
