Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President, Client Finance to join our team at Weber Shandwick. As a key member of our global client finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial leadership and guidance to our clients, driving business growth, and mitigating risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scale client finance processes on key major accounts globally, collaborating with local offices to drive business growth and mitigate risks.
  • Own the management of monthly and quarterly internal and client-facing financial reports, providing commentary on trends and risks, and communicating expectations to stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain ongoing client-side procurement and finance relationships, providing senior-level financial advisory and guidance to internal client teams.
  • Provide strategic advisory on new business commercial proposals for key accounts, driving revenue growth and business development.
  • Lead and train the client finance team on internal revenue and client-facing trackers, driving monthly revenue review processes in partnership with client service teams.
  • Drive process simplification and improvement initiatives to enhance clarity and actionable business insights.
  • Create and drive reports to identify areas of improvement across accounts, suggesting improvements to drive business growth.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting with relevant experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial systems, preferably SAP, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Deep understanding of financial accounting, P&L, Balance Sheet management, and revenue recognition methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to mentor and manage finance directors and managers.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, with a consulting and client-service oriented mindset.
  • Comfortable working in a complex, matrix environment, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders' expectations.
  • Strong financial analysis and planning skills, with demonstrated business acumen.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $170,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
