About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Multimedia Storyteller and Team Lead to join our Content and Creative Strategy team at Capital One. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing multimedia storytelling strategies that drive business results and engage our audience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate multimedia requests and develop projects from conception to execution, owning the production process and providing creative solutions that meet the highest standards and deadlines.
  • Deeply understand our business lines to evolve Capital One's multimedia storytelling and deliver on partner needs and business goals.
  • Develop and execute multimedia asset deliverables (video and audio) for internal and external storytelling opportunities.
  • Work with our analytics team to understand and optimize the impact of Capital One's storytelling to drive audience growth.
  • Develop a process playbook focused on leveraging scalability to drive efficiency and manage the pipeline of multiple, concurrent projects to meet deadlines.
  • Be a champion of Capital One's brand guidelines and ensure all external multimedia follows them on all platforms/media.
  • Stay connected to industry trends, competitors, and external partners to ensure we are constantly learning and innovating.
  • Communicate multimedia work to a cross-functional team with clarity and iterate on feedback quickly.
  • Manage the multimedia storytelling function to deliver a wide variety of assets from videos, podcasts, and UX.
  • Manage, grow, and lead a team of multimedia storytellers to unlock scale while establishing best practices and fostering each individual's full potential.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or Military experience.
  • At least 7 years of experience in multimedia storytelling, full-cycle video production, or a combination of the two.
  • At least 3 years of team management experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience with senior stakeholder management and vendor management.
  • Preferred qualifications include at least 2 years of experience managing multiple projects at once, 2 years of professional experience using Adobe Premiere Pro, and familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) and UX.
