We are seeking dedicated Emergency Medical Technicians who are committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care and both basic and advanced patient support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate each emergency situation to determine the most effective response while adhering to established EMT protocols.
- Employ your EMT skills with medical apparatus and procedures, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to deliver advanced medical assistance.
- Engage with patients and their families to offer information and reassurance regarding the care being provided.
- Serve as the EMT team leader, overseeing scene management and unit operations as necessary.
- Operate the ambulance during emergency responses.
- Collaborate professionally with all healthcare and public safety personnel, as well as fellow EMTs.
Additional Duties:
- Participate in community outreach initiatives to uphold the organization's image and foster strong community ties.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- State EMT License
- State Driver's License
- BLS, ACLS, NREMT-EMT
- Driving record compliant with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
- Some experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
Additional Benefits:
- All employees receive a $2/hour shift differential for night and weekend shifts.
- Field Training Officers earn an additional $1/hour.
- 911 system for IFT market, including higher-level Special Care Transports.
