Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team at Mono County, CA. As an EMT, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical care and transportation to patients in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support treatment to patients, in accordance with California State and ICEMA Region EMT 1A Scope of Practice.
  • Perform medical treatment and assist in patient extrication from vehicles involved in traffic collisions or accidents.
  • Respond to emergency calls and provide rescue services in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Complete paperwork and maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment.
  • Collaborate with other emergency responders, such as firefighters and law enforcement officers, to provide comprehensive emergency services.
Requirements
  • EMT 1A license from the State of California.
  • Valid Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider card from American Heart Association or Red Cross.
  • Ability to pass extensive criminal background check.
  • Previous 911 ambulance experience is preferred.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced emergency environment, often in inclement weather conditions. The EMT must be able to lift and move patients, as well as operate emergency vehicles and equipment.
