POSITION SUMMARY: This role involves supporting various functions within the organization as directed.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Completing all necessary documentation as required by the AAA Program to track transportation and meal services.
  • Operating the Hot Shot Truck daily, ensuring the delivery of over 100 meals to clients in need. Regular driving assessments are mandatory to confirm driving skills.
  • Assisting in the Central Kitchen by accurately loading the truck with the required number of meals.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the Hot Shot Truck.
  • Collaborating with the Home Delivered Meal Coordinator to adjust daily routes and ensure all clients receive their meals.
  • Keeping detailed weekly and monthly records of mileage and vehicle maintenance, submitting these reports to the Site Coordinator.
  • Conducting routine vehicle maintenance and promptly reporting any issues to the Site Coordinator.
  • Informing the HDM Coordinator and/or Site Coordinator of any clients not at home to facilitate follow-up services.
  • Working closely with the HDM Coordinator to address any issues that arise in clients' homes and reporting them immediately.
  • Performing cleaning duties as required, including mopping, restroom sanitation, sweeping, vacuuming, and dusting.
  • Managing the rotation of frozen meal inventory on a daily basis.
  • Ensuring that all necessary frozen meals, including desserts and breads, are adequately stocked, and communicating with the lead cook regarding low supplies.
  • This position is classified as safety-sensitive.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

A High School diploma or GED is preferred, along with one to three months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


LANGUAGE ABILITY:

Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings.


REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to interpret various instructions in different formats.

QUALITY ASSURANCE & COMPLIANCE: Adherence to the following Quality Assurance and HIPAA procedures is required:

  • Compliance with the Code of Conduct and Investigation Procedures as outlined in employee training.
  • Daily maintenance and completion of consumers' progress notes on prescribed forms.
  • Regular maintenance of consumers' records, ensuring all information is filed and updated as required by funding sources.
