POSITION SUMMARY: This role involves supporting various aspects of the operation as directed.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete all necessary documentation as required by the AAA Program to track transportation and meal services.
  • Operate the Hot Shot Truck daily, ensuring the delivery of over 100 meals to clients in the designated area. Must pass periodic driving assessments to demonstrate vehicle operation skills.
  • Assist in the Central Kitchen, ensuring the truck is loaded with the correct quantity of meals.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the Hot Shot Truck.
  • Collaborate with the Home Delivered Meal Coordinator to adjust daily routes and ensure all clients are served.
  • Keep accurate weekly and monthly records of mileage and vehicle maintenance, submitting reports to the Site Coordinator.
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance and promptly report any issues to the Site Coordinator.
  • Inform the HDM Coordinator and/or Site Coordinator of any clients not at home to facilitate follow-up services.
  • Work closely with the HDM Coordinator to address any issues that arise in clients' homes, reporting incidents immediately.
  • Carry out cleaning duties as required, including mopping, restroom sanitation, sweeping, vacuuming, and dusting.
  • Manage the rotation of frozen meal inventory daily.
  • Ensure that all frozen meals are prepared as needed.
  • Maintain adequate stock of desserts and breads for frozen meals, communicating with the lead cook regarding low supplies.
  • This position is safety-sensitive.

Maintain confidentiality regarding all information related to Friendship Community Care, Inc., Senior Center programs, and clients, adhering to the organization's Non-Disclosure Policy and HIPAA regulations.
