Hospice Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Hospice Registered Nurse to join our team at Acts Retirement-Life Communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the implementation of hospice plans of care in collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT)
- Ensure the needs of hospice participants and their families are met with professionalism and compassion
- Advocate for improved care of individuals with terminal illnesses
Requirements:
- Current state Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience in hospice or a transferable clinical venue
- Current or eligible for certification in CPR
- On-the-job training of 3-6 months to learn hospice philosophy and policies & procedures
- Certification in hospice and palliative nursing within two years of employment is strongly encouraged

$43.00/hour. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
