Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at ACTS Retirement-Life Communities. As a Painter, you will be responsible for performing routine to complex surface preparation, including drywall finishing, selecting appropriate paint materials, and using various application techniques to achieve a high-quality finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Removes old finishes and preps surface for interior and/or exterior painting.
- Applies coats of primer, paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to decorate and protect interior or exterior surfaces, trimmings, and fixtures of buildings, other structures, and/or equipment.
- Assists with light carpentry and punch out.
- Assists with ordering paint materials, estimating amount of paint needed, and coordinating schedule with other phases of work.
- Maintains inventory of supplies, including paint brushes, tarps, chemicals, etc.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of painting experience.
- Construction or maintenance related experience is preferred.
- Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license.

Pay Range:
$29.25 / hour. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
