At Discovery Senior Living, we are committed to providing exceptional care and services to our residents. As a Senior Caregiver - Memory Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and dignity of our residents.

• Provide hands-on care and physical support to residents, maintaining a safe and comfortable home-like environment.
• Responsible for a designated group of residents during the shift, knowing their whereabouts and checking on them regularly.
• Observe, report, and document symptoms and conditions of residents, including changes in skin, behavior, alertness, weight, dietary, and participation in activities.
• Respond promptly to security system and resident call bells, notifying supervisors and/or Health Care Coordinators of increased care needs.
• Assist with continence management, dispose of continence products properly, and maintain cleanliness of resident suites and community restrooms.
• Serve and collect food trays, assist as needed, and maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas.
• Practice good standard care precautions of cleanliness, hygiene, and health, promoting dignity and physical safety of each resident.
• Help residents maintain independence, engage them in life skills and other life enrichment activities, and greet and assist all internal and external customers, guests, family members, residents, vendors, and team members.
• Perform resident laundry as assigned and needed.

Previous experience working in memory care with seniors is preferred.

Job Requirements:

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Previous experience working in memory care with seniors (preferred)
