We are in search of an Automotive Body Repair Specialist who is a collaborative team player, enthusiastic, technically skilled, and possesses a strong work ethic with the potential for growth.
At Swickard Auto Group, you will have the chance to positively influence our operations and customer satisfaction daily.
Key Responsibilities:
- Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles with precision.
- Interpret and comprehend written estimates and work orders.
- Prepare vehicles and components for painting using appropriate techniques and materials.
- Repair collision damage in accordance with OEM standards utilizing guidelines such as Alldata and I-Car.
- Restore damaged bodywork by hammering out or filling in dents and welding broken components.
- Address all types of damage, from minor cosmetic issues to significant structural repairs.
- Clean vehicle surfaces by removing grease, dirt, paint, or rust in preparation for painting.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely delivery of all vehicles.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Automotive Body Technician.
- Car and/or ASE certification is advantageous.
- A team-oriented individual focused on delivering exceptional work and service.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high production demands.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
