This includes operating, securing, maintaining, and repairing network infrastructure to include 12 switches, 10 routers, 1 firewall, 5 video teleconference systems, 50 servers, and 4 TACLANE encryptors. You will also be responsible for providing system administrator support for C4I systems, including ENMS Lite, DCGS-N Increment 1 Block 2 (SIPR and JWICS), ADSI v15, GCCS-J 4.3 U1, Radiant Mercury (RADMERC), and Video Teleconference (VTC) Systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement network architectures per applicable DoD guidance
Coordinate and document changes to network configuration and topology
Install and maintain software and hardware, control current versions and future releases of applications
Optimize the functionality of networks and systems, diagnose and recover failed systems
Install, configure, test, and implement vendor-supplied modifications to existing systems software while applying and implementing applicable federal network security standards
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years' experience in Information IA technology or related area
10+ years of experience maintaining and securing supported operating systems
Obtain and maintain MCSA certification within the first 6 months of reporting
Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Proficient with MS VISIO, ACAS scanning software, WIRESHARK network sniffing tool, VMware virtual servers and workstations, and other relevant tools and technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance
Ability to work with Senior Executive Staff
Experience with Cisco ASA 5515-x firewall with Intrusion Protection System (IPS) experience, DCGS-N Block 2 Ashore maintenance training, Radiant Mercury (RA MERC) Administrator, SPLUNK configuration and operation, Cisco VTC operation and configuration, and other relevant experience
