- Conduct regular audits to ensure coding compliance and accuracy.
- Provide training and consultation services to promote best practices in coding and billing.
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and guidelines, and communicate changes to the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coding and billing processes.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, preferably in healthcare or a related field.
- Extensive knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding systems.
- Advanced knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Current certification in CPC, RHIT, or RHIA.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in physician coding, with a strong background in E/M coding.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong commitment to customer service and quality care.
ProMedica offers a competitive salary range of $41,496-$84,240, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
