Warehouse Coordinator Job Description

Blackdog Builders, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator to join our team. As a critical function for our success, this role requires a hard worker with excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process inventory, verifying quality, type, and quantity received.
  • Document all transactions in and out of the warehouse.
  • Stage projects for pickup or delivery to customers and/or jobsites.
  • Perform jobsite deliveries and retrieval of products as needed.
  • Safely operate a forklift, as required.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding orders and fulfillment issues.

Qualifying Attributes and Skills:

  • Previous warehouse experience is required.
  • Knowledge of construction-related products is a plus, but we will train.
  • Certified forklift operator, or the ability to become certified.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and be on your feet for extended periods of time.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and accurately with customers, installers, and peers.
  • Able to execute responsibilities with limited direct supervision.
  • Team driven.
  • Clean driving record, and clear background check.
  • Must be able to pass a DOT physical examination, paid by Blackdog.
  • Willingness to assist with tasks, even when the work is out of the scope of normal daily responsibilities.
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of programs, including Outlook and Excel.
  • Verbal and written English communication skills.
