We are looking for a full-time Warehouse Supervisor in Salem, Oregon.
What will you do as a Warehouse Supervisor?
The warehouse supervisor is responsible oversight of the warehouse daily operations, ensuring the safe storage and handling of products, maintaining inventory accuracy, and coordinating the shipping and receiving processes. The supervisor will also be responsible for compliance with all safety and environmental regulations, as well as leading and supervising a team of warehouse staff.
Warehouse Supervision:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storage, and distribution of chemical products.
- Develop and implement warehouse procedures to ensure efficient operations and minimize waste.
- Monitor and optimize the use of warehouse space and equipment.
- Receive all inbound tires from retread and stock in their designated areas
- Unload incoming freight with the appropriate forklift apparatus.
- Check all incoming freight and cross-reference with inventory/packing lists provided by the supplier for accuracy. Document all freight discrepancies.
- Stock all incoming freight items with similar items and organize like for like products.
- Note all discrepancies for inventory.
- Process all inbound tires for retreading and delivering the product to the retread plant.
- Fill all outgoing work orders and/or invoices with the correct products.
- Verify that all barcodes match both the product and the invoices.
- Verify intracompany transactions are correctly fulfilled, delivered, and billed to the respective cost center.
- Ensure that zero product leaves company property and warehousing without the correct/corresponding paperwork.
- Coordinate the shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
- Work closely with the production, procurement, and logistics teams to align warehouse operations with business needs.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and carriers.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and other relevant local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to maintain a safe working environment.
- Implement and enforce proper handling, storage, and disposal procedures for hazardous materials.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of products while minimizing excess stock.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Commence the inventory process on the first day of every calendar month.
- Support inventory reconciliation once a complete monthly inventory is completed.
- Use inventory management software to track and report on inventory levels and movement.
- Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Schedule and coordinate work assignments for warehouse personnel.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in warehouse management and the tire industry.
When/Where will you work?
Our service hours are Monday - Friday, 8am-4:30pm. This role is based at our headquarter in Salem, Oregon.

We are looking for driven, enthusiastic, detail-oriented individuals with experience in automotive, mechanical, repair, tire, and service industries. Ideally, you will have experience in automotive/repair/service industry. We provide complete training and certifications for our team.
Ability to assess and best support customer's needs, and partner with other team members to provide full-service solutions to each vehicle serviced.
Requirements:
Ability to lift 50-lbs, strong physical dexterity, mechanical aptitude, problem solving skills, ability to operate hand, power, and air compression/hydraulic tools, successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Forklift certification preferred.
Physical Requirements and Working Environment:
Employees are regularly required to lift 50-lbs, stand, walk, use of both hands, arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling as required. Employees are regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions, vibrations, working near moving mechanical parts, fumes, and airborne particles, possible exposure risk to electrical shock, elevated noise and sounds within the working environment.
