Role Overview:
The Mortgage Loan Officer plays a crucial role in supporting current customers from our Servicing Portfolio via telephone, addressing their present and future mortgage requirements. Each licensed Loan Officer is assigned inbound and outbound leads to manage in accordance with Pennymac's policies, procedures, and lending standards. Compensation for this position is directly linked to performance, with an estimated average salary plus incentives ranging from $184,500 to $249,000.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls to assist both existing and prospective Pennymac customers.
  • Assess current customer needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
  • Educate and guide customers through the home-buying or refinancing processes.
  • Propose loan solutions to enhance customers' overall financial well-being.
  • Support applicants throughout the loan application journey, including reviewing disclosures and loan documentation.
  • Highlight the advantages of Pennymac's offerings and how they align with customer needs, providing effective rebuttals as necessary.
  • Oversee pipeline activities while achieving production targets, compliance standards, and company policies in line with lending regulations.
  • Deliver a Best in Class experience to every caller, embodying the organization's culture and values.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of origination and lending experience.
  • Must possess a current UST License.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment while navigating various system applications and software.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and organizational skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and capability to work independently.
  • Collaborative team player, willing to support colleagues.
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and sound judgment abilities.

  • Lower range - Developing skills and experience in the role.
