Key Responsibilities- Research and complete billing process for all commercial insurance claims
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of claims and billing information
- Ensure timely follow-ups on claims to ensure payments are received
- Participate in educational programs and in-service meetings to stay up-to-date on coding and billing regulations
- Perform other job duties as assigned or requested
- AAPC or AHIMA Certified Coder, CPC preferred
- One (1) year of professional services coding experience or three (3) years of verifiable professional coding experience
- Good understanding of medical terminology and ability to apply governing regulations of coding
- Ability to type 45 wpm
This is a training position, and the successful candidate will be accountable for learning and applying coding and billing regulations in a timely and accurate manner.
