Job Title:

Sales Representative

Job Summary:

The Sales Representative will be responsible for conducting marketing and local outreach in the community to meet daily goals. The purpose of this role is to contact potential customers, referrals, and industry peers to inform them of our products, key features, and potential promotions. The Sales Representative will also be responsible for obtaining customers' information, communicating it to our sales department, and assisting with order review and preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend industry conferences to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and developments in the marine industry.
  • Accurately describe our products and services, and leave marketing materials with referral sources.
  • Obtain customers' information and communicate it to our sales department.
  • Answer telephone calls from individuals requesting assistance or inquiring about boat lifts.
  • Schedule lunches with perspective local professional referral sources.
  • Respond to questions from individuals requesting services and promote Golden Manufacturing clearly, with integrity, honesty, and loyalty to our mission statement.
  • Achieve daily marketing goals as outlined by our supervisor (weekly updated CRM).
  • Work as a marketing team to drive results.
  • Work autonomously as a self-starter regarding daily activities.
  • Demonstrate competency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, Office, and Outlook.
  • Maintain attention to detail and a proactive work ethic.
  • Comply with all ongoing required work trainings.
  • Complete goals, tasks, and performance measures as outlined by submitting weekly, monthly reports, and quarterly marketing plans.
  • Submit reports as directed by our Business Development Manager.
  • Perform any additional tasks as assigned by our Supervisor, regarding team goals.
  • Update and add regular social media posts.
  • Utilize CRM software while working in the community.
  • Input orders clearly and accurately.

Requirements:

  • Must have marine experience.
  • Golden Manufacturing product knowledge is a must.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and effective presentation of program details and philosophy.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or other specific business and program/office-related software.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • HS diploma or higher, minimum 1 year of marketing experience.

Other Requirements:

  • Completed health screening questionnaire.
  • Cleared background check.
  • Provided at least two professional references.
  • Completed applications, resume, and education if requested.
