About the Role

Ancra Cargo is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing new products, systems, and solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safety Culture Promotion: Develop and implement safety programs to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
  • Product Design and Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new products, systems, and solutions that meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Research and Development: Conduct research and collect data to support engineering projects and initiatives, and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical drawings, specifications, and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Testing and Analysis: Perform tests, simulations, and analysis to evaluate the performance and reliability of engineering designs.
  • Process Improvement: Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to improve existing products or processes.
  • Technical Support: Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues that may arise during the development or production phase.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Coordinate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including project managers, designers, and technicians.
Requirements:
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge and understanding of engineering principles, concepts, and methodologies.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in CAD software for design and drafting (SolidWorks and DraftSight preferred).
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Adaptability: Adaptability and willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Certification Requirements: Familiarity with engineering software and tools specific to the industry or field of specialization.
Working Conditions:

Ancra Cargo is a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be expected to work in a normal manufacturing environment and may be required to use safety glasses, safety shoes, and hearing protection.
