Job Summary

The Family Services Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the program's family services and aftercare, including administration, planning, supervision, independent monitoring, and program development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit and accept referrals in coordination with the Director of Group Home program.
  • Operate the program within and according to all regulations, ensuring it meets or exceeds all program evaluation criteria.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff, including conducting staff meetings, preparing and monitoring schedules, and ensuring paperwork and documentation requirements are met.
  • Ensure fiscal accountability, providing regular statistical and billing information, preparing biweekly and/or monthly reports, and completing all statemandated reports in a timely manner.
  • Act as a liaison to various community and public agencies.
  • Form therapeutic relationships with children and families.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Social Work or related Human Services discipline preferred; Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related Human Services discipline required.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience working with at-risk youth; minimum 1-2 years of supervisory experience required.
  • Flexible schedule with evenings required; provide on-call coverage.
  • Must have a current and valid driver's license with acceptable driving history to the Agency.
  • Travel is required for the position.
  • Ability to work with an economically and culturally diverse population.

Work Environment

The role is full-time, requiring 40 hours per week. Scheduled shifts are flexible depending on the needs of the program and families served.

Compensation

$65,000 annual; weekly pay.
