Russell Tobin & Associates is looking for a Claims Advocate to join our team.
In the role of Claims Advocate, you will be responsible for investigating, managing, and processing claims for compensation related to the Client App.
Employment Type: Contract/Hybrid
Compensation: $27-$32/hr, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough investigations and submit new claims to insurance providers by reviewing initial reports of loss and relevant documentation to accurately assess insurance exposure and identify applicable insurance policies.
- Exhibit critical thinking skills while adhering to established claims processes.
- Utilize existing knowledge to assist with more complex claims and insurance inquiries.
- Provide accurate responses to inquiries from insurance carriers and other stakeholders.
- Demonstrate a strong customer focus and a solid understanding of insurance policies when communicating with all partners.
- Utilize effective written and electronic communication, as the primary method of communication in this role is electronic, with minimal telephonic interaction.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity with US auto claims coverages.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in auto claims management or 1 year of experience in bodily injury adjusting.
- Proficiency in various computer operating systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
- Claims designation obtained or in progress is a plus.
- Experience in handling bodily injury claims.
- Experience with a major insurance carrier.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain quality in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- High adaptability to meet changing business needs.
- Proficient in multitasking across various technology platforms.
- Ability to compromise when necessary to help the team achieve objectives.
- Capability to mentor Claims team members and serve as a subject matter expert in insurance and claims.
- Demonstrated ability to enhance business processes in a complex claims environment.
