Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at UT Health Science Center at Houston. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate professional to provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic clinic or hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct complex patient care procedures under the direction of a primary care physician.
  • Develop and implement patient treatment plans, coordinating with other clinicians as needed.
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests, ensuring accurate diagnosis and treatment.
  • Provide episodic care or problem-oriented care under the supervision of a physician.
  • Maintain accurate records detailing patient treatment plans and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to promote optimal patient recovery.

Requirements:

  • Certifications: Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Certified Physician Assistant (CPA)
  • Licensure: Current Texas Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Physician Assistant (PA)
  • Education: Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field

Salary and Benefits:

$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Generous time off, paid medical premiums, longevity pay, and a comprehensive retirement/pension plan.
