We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Lead to join our team at Alcon. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Maintenance: Provide day-to-day maintenance coordination for maintenance technicians involved in craft specialties, including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, automation, and fabrication.
  • Training and Development: Provide training, work direction, and guidance to maintenance technicians while performing work in one or more of the skilled trades.
  • Leadership and Coordination: Lead Tier I meetings and serve as the department representative to ensure maintenance support is provided to execute daily production schedules and assess escalation of maintenance issues.
  • Equipment Reliability: Ensure equipment reliability by performing job plan assessments and equipment critical spare parts assessments.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures and represent the shift in HSE meetings and assigned actions.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Understand, generate, and execute engineering change orders, preventative maintenance change requests, and equipment master record forms.
  • Operations Risk Reduction: Ensure operation risk reduction by providing bimonthly updates of PM, CM, and equipment issues to the maintenance manager.
  • Shop and Satellite Cages: Ensure shop and satellite cages areas are in compliance with 5's and verify the team is equipped with appropriate equipment to perform job tasks.
  • Investigations and Reporting: Lead manufacturing non-conformance and complaint investigations and report summary of findings to the manager and MNC team.
  • CAPA and Central Stores: Ensure group adherence to Central Stores guidelines when ordering and stocking equipment spare parts via WESCO programs and services.
  • Daily Shift Summary: Responsible for daily shift summary generation and distribution.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Language: The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
  • Experience: 4 years of relevant experience
  • Work Schedule: 6pm to 6am, 4 days on shift/4 days off shift
  • Travel: 0 to 10% travel requirements
  • Relocation: No relocation assistance available
  • Sponsorship: No sponsorship available
