As a Tax Compliance Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our tax department by assisting in the accurate and timely filing of tax documents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in Tax Filing: Support tax professionals in the preparation and submission of federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and non-profit organizations.
  • Tax Document Management: Organize and maintain tax records, including electronic and paper files, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Client Communication: Communicate with clients to obtain necessary information and clarify details as needed to ensure accurate tax filings.
  • Administrative Support: Perform data entry, ensure the accuracy of financial information, and handle administrative tasks related to tax filings, such as e-filing, printing, and mailing documents.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain the confidentiality of all client information.
  • Team Support: Assist tax professionals in ad hoc projects and support full-cycle client onboarding and Statement of Work and Service Agreement for all clients.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or college degree preferred.
  • Experience: One (1) or more years working in tax, payroll, accounts payable, or general accounting preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent time management skills, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
