Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a skilled Radiation Technologist to join their team in a travel assignment.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Radiation Technologist to work in a dynamic environment. As a Radiation Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, including positioning and instructing them on how to hold their breath
  • Administer contrast media as needed
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and scan results
Requirements
  • One to three years of experience as a Radiation Technologist
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and move patients as needed
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
