We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of computed tomography images for medical interpretation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests to ensure accurate and efficient scanning procedures.
  • Position patients correctly for scanning, taking into account their comfort and safety.
  • Operate computerized tomography equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
  • Administer radiocontrast agents as needed to enhance image quality.
  • Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and accuracy.
  • Follow established safety protocols when working with radiation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Stay current with the McKesson PACS system and other relevant technologies.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
  • Active BLS certification.
  • ARRT National certification with registration in computed tomography.
  • State-specific licensing (when required).

Physical Demands:

CT Technologists should be able to stand and walk for extended periods, as well as bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty. A sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology is essential for success in this role.
