Job Title: Front Desk Representative

At SpikeIT Global Solutions Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Representative to join our team. As a Front Desk Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support to ensure a positive experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet and greet customers, providing a warm and welcoming environment.
  • Assist customers with the application process, navigating through the self-service lobby and providing support as needed.
  • Ensure lobby equipment and forms are operational and available to customers throughout the day.
  • Answer general inquiry questions related to program requirements, application processing, case status, and benefit information.
  • Log customers into computer-based systems for data collection and customer service resolution.
  • Escalate complex customer inquiries to ensure resolution.
  • Provide education on community partners and the benefits of our ACCESS Account, including account setup and password resets.
  • Assist customers with referrals to other agencies and community resources.
  • Monitor lobby traffic flow and notify supervisors of any issues.
  • Complete client registration clearances as needed.
  • Request additional information or verification required to establish or continue eligibility for public assistance programs.
  • Ensure electronic case records are documented thoroughly and properly.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail and scan documents into electronic files.
  • Perform special work assignments and other related duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of effective communication principles and techniques.
  • Knowledge of office procedures and practices.
  • Basic arithmetic skills.
  • Ability to deal with the public in a tactful, courteous, and effective manner.
  • Ability to speak clearly and correctly.
  • Ability to listen effectively.
  • Ability to record and evaluate data relating to applicant employment or assistance for health care or community services.
  • Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to review data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ability to organize and maintain filing systems.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
