Customer Service Representative

At SpikeIT Global Solutions Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Representative to join our team. As a Front Desk Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support to ensure a positive experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Meet and greet customers, providing a warm and welcoming environment.
- Assist customers with the application process, navigating through the self-service lobby and providing support as needed.
- Ensure lobby equipment and forms are operational and available to customers throughout the day.
- Answer general inquiry questions related to program requirements, application processing, case status, and benefit information.
- Log customers into computer-based systems for data collection and customer service resolution.
- Escalate complex customer inquiries to ensure resolution.
- Provide education on community partners and the benefits of our ACCESS Account, including account setup and password resets.
- Assist customers with referrals to other agencies and community resources.
- Monitor lobby traffic flow and notify supervisors of any issues.
- Complete client registration clearances as needed.
- Request additional information or verification required to establish or continue eligibility for public assistance programs.
- Ensure electronic case records are documented thoroughly and properly.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail and scan documents into electronic files.
- Perform special work assignments and other related duties as required.
- Knowledge of effective communication principles and techniques.
- Knowledge of office procedures and practices.
- Basic arithmetic skills.
- Ability to deal with the public in a tactful, courteous, and effective manner.
- Ability to speak clearly and correctly.
- Ability to listen effectively.
- Ability to record and evaluate data relating to applicant employment or assistance for health care or community services.
- Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to review data for accuracy and completeness.
- Ability to organize and maintain filing systems.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations.
- Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
