Job Title: Client Service Manager

Brown & Brown of Massachusetts is seeking a highly skilled Client Service Manager to join our Commercial Lines team in Dedham, Massachusetts.

This is a full-time role that requires in-office availability at least one day per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, process, review, and monitor various documents, including certificates of insurance, Auto ID cards, draft of binders, and Summary of Insurance.
  • Manage the review of policies to ensure coverages are as quoted, proposed, and bound, and provide final quality assurance of the placement in conjunction with the account executive.
  • Review insureds' contracts and ensure that policy, endorsements, and certificates of insurance are compliant with the contract. Provide feedback to clients regarding any recommendations or changes to policy wording.
  • Promptly respond to routine requests for data and questions from clients, underwriters, and internal staff.
  • Policy checking for new business, re-writes, and endorsements.
  • Develop knowledge of a client's business and industry and their specific risk profile through their business model, asset portfolio, product, and cash flow, loss history, etc. Identify the client's exposure to loss and the means to address them; predominantly through insurance risk transfer. Identify tolerance to risk retention and service needs and protocols.
  • Create insurance proposals to compare competitive insurance program options and recommend the best program for our clients.
  • Accurately complete the Renewal Information Request.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with underwriters and other service providers. Keep abreast of changing market conditions and innovations.
  • Develop and maintain client service plans, manage mid-term changes, and assist in Stewardship reviews.
  • Promptly and accurately respond to client requests. If responsibilities are delegated, follow through to ensure client received timely responses.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • Associate's or Bachelor's preferred
  • P&C Insurance Producer License in good standing
  • 5+ years functioning in Commercial Lines department at an agency
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
