Job Description:
The Computer Merchant, LTD. is seeking a qualified Cybersecurity Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is essential for ensuring the integrity and security of our information systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and guidelines, including Risk Management Framework (RMF) and DIACAP.
- Implement and monitor security measures to safeguard sensitive information.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding security issues, impacts, and necessary corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed reports on cybersecurity systems engineering and design.
- Collaborate with senior security teams and project leaders to enhance security protocols.
- Apply project management principles to oversee cybersecurity initiatives.
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Candidates must possess a Department of Defense Secret security clearance at the time of hire. A strong grasp of cybersecurity technologies and trends is essential, along with the ability to think creatively and manage multiple tasks effectively.
