Job Description

As a key member of the PerfectVision team, the Account Manager plays a vital role in supporting external and internal customers. This individual is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, providing accurate quotes and orders, maintaining data in the CRM, and assisting with customer forecasting. The Account Manager is directly and indirectly charged with growing the Infrastructure distribution business through these efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Qualify business needs and implement customer-specific strategies to achieve defined customer growth targets.
  • Re-engage low or non-performing customers by developing new strategies, offering solutions, and tactics to develop and grow current business.
  • Onboard and educate new customers regarding current product offerings and meet their needs.
  • Interact and maintain business relationships with counterparts within the organization and execute strategies and objectives provided by management.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with other team members within the department and throughout the organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Regular and prompt attendance at work is a primary function and requirement of this position.
  • Establish a strong understanding of overall product knowledge and processes necessary for supporting orders and quotes to customers.
  • Manage heavy workloads with a positive attitude while growing and developing a sustainable and healthy region.
  • Some light travel may be required.
  • Must be highly organized and able to multitask.
  • Provide market feedback and forecasting, acting as a liaison between the industry and PerfectVision.

Requirements:

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Bachelor's degree in business preferred.
  • Two years of experience in the Infrastructure industry working with construction or distribution, preferred.
  • Two years of inside sales/Customer Service experience preferred.

Computer Skills:

  • Knowledge in Microsoft AX, Salesforce, and Web Search a plus.
  • Computer literate in a Microsoft Windows environment.
  • Intermediate level of experience using Microsoft Excel, including creating spreadsheets, formatting, using the formula bar, importing/exporting documents, and calculating numbers.
  • Intermediate level of experience using Microsoft Outlook, including composing, sending, forwarding, and replying to incoming e-mail, attaching computerized files, and utilizing calendar and task reminders.
  • Intermediate level of experience using Microsoft Word, including composing, editing, naming, and saving documents, formatting text, and printing.
  • Intermediate level of experience using Microsoft PowerPoint, including creating presentations, adding new slides, previewing a presentation, using graphic images from various sources, adding animation, applying a template, adding slide transitions, using outlines, and the drawing toolbar.

  • Neat and professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Read and understand material such as detailed operating and procedure manuals, case histories, diagrams, etc.
  • Write materials, such as standard memos, letters, or detailed forms.
  • Proficient in intermediate mathematical skills such as adding, subtracting, dividing, multiplying, and calculation of fractions, percentages, ratio, and measurements.
  • Knowledge of measurements such as length, height, width, inches, feet, and meters.
  • Primary language used to perform this job is English.
