The Food and Beverage business at Ecolab is seeking a qualified Business Development Manager to extend our market reach through targeted discovery and exploration of new and untapped business opportunities and relationships.

This role will require working closely with marketing and sales leaders to develop and execute growth strategies by market segment.

Key responsibilities include acquiring new customers through the identification, prioritization, strategic analysis, and sales plan development/execution.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing significant deal volume and target account pipelines, leveraging sales experience and skills to close new accounts, and providing timely and accurate sales forecasts to inform management's strategic decision-making.

Work with a variety of food, beverage, and dairy manufacturing customers, be challenged and gain recognition as you provide unparalleled expertise and a comprehensive set of cleaning and sanitation solutions, and receive a company vehicle for business and personal use.

Relocation assistance may be provided for the right candidate, and a bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial) or life sciences (biology, chemistry, etc.) is required, along with five years of technical sales or field sales support experience.

Process treatment experience in ethylene, butadiene, styrene, and downstream chemical operations, as well as water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience, is highly desirable.
