Position Overview:

As an Early Childhood Sports Instructor at Amazing Athletes, you will be tasked with delivering vibrant and engaging sports programs to preschool-aged children.

You will implement our structured curriculum to teach essential motor skills, coordination, and teamwork while nurturing a positive and encouraging atmosphere. This position demands enthusiasm, energy, and a genuine love for working with young children.

Important Note:

This is a permanent role, and we are seeking an individual who can commit to this position year-round, including the summer months.


Key Responsibilities:

Program Implementation:
Lead sports classes utilizing Amazing Athletes' curriculum, ensuring each session is captivating, enjoyable, and educational.

Child Development Focus:
Emphasize the physical, emotional, and social growth of children, fostering confidence, teamwork, and a passion for sports.

Safety and Oversight:

Uphold a safe and inclusive environment for all participants, adhering to safety protocols and addressing any issues that may arise.


Communication with Staff and Parents:
Engage with school staff and parents regarding their child's progress, providing updates and addressing any concerns or inquiries.

Equipment Oversight:
Ensure all sports equipment is properly set up, utilized, and maintained in excellent condition.

Collaboration with Team:
Collaborate closely with fellow coaches and staff to continually enhance the program and share best practices.

Qualifications:

Experience:
Previous experience working with young children in a coaching, teaching, or childcare role is preferred.

Skills:
Excellent communication skills, patience, and the ability to engage and inspire young children.

Certifications:
CPR and First Aid certification is required (can be obtained post-hiring if necessary).

Education:
A background in early childhood education, physical education, or a related field is advantageous.

Availability:
Must be available to work flexible hours, including mornings and weekends.

Schedule:
Instructors must be available Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm YEAR-ROUND.

Instructors will conduct between 3-6 classes each morning depending on school size (minimum of 3 classes per day).

Instructors will spend approximately 8-10 hours per week coaching.

Instructors start at $15.00 PER HALF-HOUR CLASS (~$30.00 per hour).
