About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychologist with expertise in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to join our team at Children's Mercy Hospitals and Clinics. As a key member of our Division of Developmental and Behavioral Health, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality diagnostic evaluations and clinical services to children and families impacted by ASD and associated developmental/mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for ASD and associated developmental/mental health conditions
  • Provide evidence-based clinical services, including intervention and treatment planning
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Contribute to research and program development activities focused on ASD and neurodevelopmental disabilities
  • Participate in educational outreach efforts to promote awareness and understanding of ASD and related conditions
Requirements
  • PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology or a closely related field
  • Completion of an APA-approved internship
  • License-eligibility as a psychologist in Missouri and Kansas
  • Specialized training in evidence-based diagnostic evaluation of ASD/developmental disabilities in youth
  • Desirable: postdoctoral fellowship experience, additional training in evidence-based intervention
