We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Clinical Psychologist or Postdoctoral Fellow to join our multidisciplinary team at ChildServe. As a key member of our behavioral health team, you will have the opportunity to work with children and young adults with a range of developmental disabilities, including autism, Down syndrome, and other diagnoses.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and young adults, and develop recommendations for services and treatments.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based treatments, including therapy, counseling, and advice.
- Help clients and their families set goals and develop plans to achieve personal, social, educational, and vocational development and adjustment.
- Communicate assessment results and treatment plans with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology.
- State of Iowa Licensed Psychologist or Provisional Psychology License (Postdoctoral applicants accepted).
- Two years or more of licensed practice preferred.
- Experience working with children and adolescents on the autism spectrum, and trauma-informed practice.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the assigned work area, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand.
